Door Jamb Armor's Jamb Shield is a steel reinforced "cast" for your current wood door jamb. The Jamb Shield turns any wood framed door into a steel door jamb that can't be kicked or pried open.

The Jamb Shield features Jamb Wrapping Technology and easily slides around the lock side of the doorjamb to help prevent the doorjamb from splitting when kicked.

Installing the Jamb Shield is the first step to door security and a great start. PLEASE NOTE that once you reinforce the door jamb, the door itself becomes the most vulnerable strike point. You should use Door Shields to protect the door and locks, along with Hinge Shields.
