Door Jamb Armor - Hinge Shields

Door Jamb Armor's Hinge Shield is a steel reinforced "cast" for your current hinges. The Hinge Shields feature Wrapping Technology and are designed to easily slide around the top and bottom hinges of your wood door jamb.

The Hinge Shields are small steel sleeves, with a space cut out for the hinge. These pieces slide onto the wood jamb around the hinge to reinforce the jamb and anchor your hinge into something solid.

The Hinge Shield is usually the last part of the door security process, but not any less important. Many thieves attack the hinges first as they know they aren't protected. While many people remove the screws from the hinges and put in longer 3" screws, we recommend installing the Hinge Shield for maximum protection.
